Nikon Team Real Tree Monarch 10x42 Binoculars

The Nikon Monarch ATB 10x42 binoculars offer rugged construction for waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof performance. They're ideal to bring along for a day of four-wheeling in the mud, boatings trips, or camping out. Use them almost anywhere, in any kind of weather — their non-slip rubber coating will ensure a good grip, wet or dry.

The Nikon Monarch ATB 10x42 is a full-size roof prism binocular, but its ultra light weight of just 21.5 oz. may have you thinking it has to be smaller. The 10x42 Nikon Monarch ATB is made with phase-corrected prisms and fully multi-coated lenses for greater image brightness and resolution with minimal distortion. Made with black rubber armoring that provides a slip-free grip, the Nikon 10x42 Monarch ATB binocular is O-ring sealed and nitrogen-filled to be completely waterproof and internally fog-proof. Nikon’s Monarch ATB 10x42 binoculars have multi-setting, click-stop, adjustable eyecups and long eye relief for additional user comfort, with or without eyeglasses. The 10x42 Monarch ATB binocular is made with Nikon’s lead- and arsenic-free Eco-glass.

Nikon has engineered the optics with Eco-Glass, an environmentally friendly material made without the use of arsenic or lead. Every lens surface is multicoated with anti-reflective compounds to maximize light transmission for bright, color-correct images.

Eyeglass wearers will especially enjoy the Monarch ATB's user-friendly design. A quick twist of the retractable turn-and-slide rubber eyecups is all it takes to adjust for comfortable viewing — with or without glasses. And everyone will appreciate the fact that these well-made binoculars are backed by Nikon's 25-year warranty.

What do the numbers mean? Binoculars are generally described by two numbers. The first tells you the magnification, or how many times larger than normal size a distant object will appear. The second number describes the objective lens diameter, or the size of the front lenses. The greater this second number, the brighter images will appear (other factors being equal).
