Between the lining and shell is a layer of 100-gram Thinsulate Insulation along with a thin layer of foam and waterproof PVC. The shell is 100% cotton that's tightly woven to resist snags and clingy vegetation. A textured PVC palm patch extends up the thumb, index and middle fingers for enhanced gripping power in wet or slick conditions.
