Magpuls AR-15 STR, Storage Type Restricted, Milspec Collapsible Stock uses mil-spec extension tubes. The anti-snag design on the STR stock prevents accidental activation of the release latch. An important included feature on the new STR stocks is the friction lock system that prevents stock movement. The prevention of stock movement on a collapsible stock provides much better accuracy and precision. Two water resistant battery storage in the butt of the stock is a much needed feature for dusk, dawn, or night use. The rubber butt pad, though only 0.3 inches thick, keeps the butt from slipping off your shoulder in the nastiest of weather or on the slickest of clothing. The STR has two integrated sling attachment loops, and a reversible push button QD sling mount.
