Magpul's MBUS Folding Back-up Rear Rifle Sight is the 2nd generation of MBUS sights. This low cost folding back up sight is injection molded. The front sight is adjustable for elevation and can fit most 1913 picatinny rails, while still being intended for the AR-15 and M16. These sights are constructed of high impact resistant polymer. Made in the USA. Spring loaded flip up sights will deploy from either side or from pressure on the top. Sight stands up from pressure of spring but is not obstructed so they can be folded if impacted. Wings shield the spring to protect the sights integrity. The new features of the MBUS sights is a reduced overall size, and the spring loaded front sight holds a better elevation. Cannot be mounted to a railed gas block because of excess heat.
