The Marias over & under is one of the finest shotguns available today. A true hand-detachable back-action sidelock, every feature stands as testament of Kimber's commitment to quality and classic firearm design. At the same time, they are the product of the finest raw materials and computer driven manufacturing. Without embracing this technology, it would be impossible to create such a refined shotgun.

Currently available in 20 gauge, with 12 gauge soon to follow, Marias shotguns are classic field guns. Designed around the legendary sidelock action that has served as the foundation of the best and most expensive firearms ever made, they are built to last a lifetime.

Marias receivers wear the warm, vibrant colors of bone charcoal case coloring. Receiver and locks are also engraved by hand in a delicate scroll to a generous fifty percent coverage. This traditional combination is further complemented by the rich figure of fine Turkish walnut stocks hand checkered at 24 lines per inch, then carefully finished with repeated coats of hand-rubbed oil.

Barrels are finished in elegant Belgian rust blue, the perfect contrast to bone charcoal. Here, tradition blends with modern reality. Chrome lining allows the use of steel shot, and a set of five thinwall choke tubes is included. Automatic ejectors and ventilated ribs are standard features.

Little things are often the harbinger of quality. Brilliant niter blue is found on pins, trigger and hammers. Gold line cocking indicators grace each lock. Length of pull is a proper 14.75 inches to the 24 LPI hand-checkered butt. The lock is finished like a fine Swiss watch.

Marias shotguns are offered in two grades. The Grade I is available with 28-inch barrels and Prince of Wales stock in grade three Turkish walnut in either 12 or 20 gauge. Grade II shotguns all feature stunning grade four Turkish walnut stocks, 12 gauge in Prince of Wales and 20 with either Prince of Wales or English profiles. Barrel lengths of 26, 28 or 30 inches are offered.
