This is one awesome turkey choke. Most 10 and 12 gauge factory threaded guns can become instant turkey hunting guns with this Kicks Gobblin' Thunder ChokeTube. There are many constrictions available from .640 to .720, depending on gauge and gun model. Here are our recommendations for your best bets for patterning at 40 yards with #4, #5 and #6 LEAD SHOT ONLY.
A tighter constriction (the smaller number) is better for #6 shot. For a more open choke, use a larger number, which is better for #4shot. However, you must be careful not to over constrict the choke which will result in blown patterns at distances greater than 40 yards. Always remember larger shot, heavier loads and longer distances require less constriction for optimum patterning.
