Hoppes Elite Cleaning Rods are coated to prevent scratching the inside of your barrel. The rods are constructed of spring stainless steel with great tensile strength and yield for many years of use. The coating on the rods is a DuPont hard epoxy coating. At 36 inches the 17 to 20 Caliber rods are long enough to use Hoppes Universal bore guide. These rods are intended for rifles, and do as much cleaning as possible without doing any damage to the rifle. Accepts any standard 8-32 threaded attachments.
