This thing is pretty neat. I would not call it a towel- it feels more like a piece of rubber or a pad. But it works as advertised- get it wet and it gets noticeably cool to the touch- almost cold, even if you wet it with warm water.
After reading about this product (and my son almost having a heat stroke playing golf the weekend before), I picked up two ... one for my son and one for myself. These RAWK! We used them last weekend and it made the heat bearable. Just wet it every now and then and it stays cool!
We live in South Florida, so playing golf in the summer is almost unbearable. 90s and humid, it really sucks the fun out of it. With these, it is much more tolerable. If you live where it gets hot, stop what you are doing and run to the nearest store and pick some up.
