The new shell takes its name from the Speed Ball, a ball at the base of the wad that accelerates the pellets without raising chamber pressures. The shotshells are constructed with a layered shot technology. A charge of copper-clad steel pellets sits at the base of the shell, topped by a layer of Hevi-Shot. The benefits of this load will be more velocity without increasing chamber pressure, higher pellet count in your pattern than HEVI-shot, and nearly matching the lethal energy of HEVI-shot.
This new Hevi Shot shot shell out-patterns any other shell on the open market. The new Speed Ball ammo will come out of the box smoking at 1635 and 1650 velocity rates. This ammo is priced per box.
