Product Description

Leupold VX-II Rifle Scopes are the ideal choice when lightening the load. They weigh about 17 percent less than their full-size counterparts, yet retain all the performance features, lens coatings, and systems you expect from a Leupold. They’re also every bit as rugged, waterproof, accurate, dependable, and of course, each is guaranteed for life. The VX-II 3-9x33mm Ultralight EFR also has extreme close-focus capability, making it a perfect match for your air rifle, walking varminter, or rimfire rifle. The 0.25 MOA finger click allows you to more quickly adjust for windage and elevation.

Quantum Optical System:
Lead free glass with a geometry that is designed to minimize wave front error and increase resolution. Razor sharp imaging across any brightness level sets this system aside from any other in the world. The key mechanical portions of the Vari-X system have been left in place while the coatings, and positioning of optical elements have been changed to achieve the imaging. 94 percent light transmission has been achieved in this VX-II system while maintaining the near indestructible construction.

Index Matched Lens System:
Based on the index of refraction of each lens, the lens' are individually coated with different materials to allow the maximum amount of light transmission and eliminate reflections.

DiamondCoat:
The exterior coating of the outside lenses is extremely abrasive resistant and allows the absolute maximum light transmission. The end game is a perfect sight picture and a lifetime of use in the hardest of conditions.

2nd Generation Argon Krypton Waterproofing:
This method takes the nitrogen waterproofing to the next step. Only a few models made by Leupold use this top of the line technology. The Argon Krypton gas blend eliminates the effect of thermal shock as well as reduces the diffusion of gas from within the scope. This method exceeds the market standards set by Leupold.

Lead Free Glass:
The lead free glass lenses allow better picture clarity. The glass used in Leupold scopes is produced through processes that are not harmful to the environment, unlike the traditional glass producing method.

Generous Eyebox:
This larger eyebox allows you the flexibility that is necessary of different hunting situations. The longer eye relief at high power gives you an improved picture that fully fills the eyepiece. The larger box also allows faster aqcuisition of game at close range or faster speeds, which is especially helpful in situations with dangerous game.

Blackened Lens Edges:
This reduces glare and diffusion to allow better resolution, contrast and performance.

External Thread Eyepiece:
This design of a fast-focus eye piece helps you focus faster so you can get the shot off faster.

Custom Dial System, CDS:
This system allows you to dial in your elevation to your other sight in ranges with custom adjustment to your specific ballistics. These CDS dials change out quite easily so you can change it with your different calibers, loads or conditions. Each CDS dial is different and can take into account all environmental and ballistic information.

Ballistic Aiming System, BAS:
The ballistic aiming system developed by Leupold has seven different reticles, all of which take in information critical to the hunt and shot. Some models have special ballistics marks for specific ranges and wind speeds. These marks allow for quick reference during the hunt. This system, with some practice, will help you make a correct distance judgement, reticle positioning, and wind adjustment for the perfect shot. Extensive use of this system will build its use into your every shot judgements. Accurate, long range shots are the most difficult thing to master in any kind of hunting. Make your life a little bit easier with the BAS system in every Leupold VX-II Rifle.

Factory Standard Reticles:
Leupold has over 20 different factory reticle configurations for the best possible fit for your intended game, environment, caliber, and load.
