The Leupold VX-I offers hunters Leupold quality and accuracy, affordability, and a lifetime guarantee…for the money, you won’t find a better scope, or a better warranty.
Quantum Optical System:
Lead free glass with a geometry that is designed to minimize wave front error and increase resolution. Razor sharp imaging across any brightness level sets this system aside from any other in the world. The key mechanical portions of the Vari-X system have been left in place while the coatings, and positioning of optical elements have been changed to achieve the imaging. 92 percent light transmission has been achieved in this VX-I system while maintaining the near indestructible construction.
Lead Free Glass:
The lead free glass lenses allow better picture clarity. The glass used in Leupold scopes is produced through processes that are not harmful to the environment, unlike the traditional glass producing method.
Generous Eyebox:
This larger eyebox allows you the flexibility that is necessary of different hunting situations. The longer eye relief at high power gives you an improved picture that fully fills the eyepiece. The larger box also allows faster aqcuisition of game at close range or faster speeds, which is especially helpful in situations with dangerous game.
Ballistic Aiming System, BAS:
The ballistic aiming system developed by Leupold has seven different reticles, all of which take in information critical to the hunt and shot. Some models have special ballistics marks for specific ranges and wind speeds. These marks allow for quick reference during the hunt. This system, with some practice, will help you make a correct distance judgement, reticle positioning, and wind adjustment for the perfect shot. Extensive use of this system will build its use into your every shot judgements. Accurate, long range shots are the most difficult thing to master in any kind of hunting. Make your life a little bit easier with the BAS system in every Leupold VX-I Rifle Scope.
