The Wildfire features a rugged ABS injection molded housing for superior strength and durability. A single high quality horn speaker is built in for great volume and a crisp sound. An auxiliary jack is present to plug in an approved auxiliary device, such as the FoxPro Jack Decoys. The external speaker jack allows you to plug in an additional speaker to increase volume if desired. You can disable your internal speaker with the speaker on off slide switch. The low battery light allows you to see when your Wildfire is turned on and also blinks when your batteries are low. The tripod mount located on the bottom allows you to elevate your caller off the ground when hooking it to a tripod.
This unit runs off of 4AA batteries. Alkaline batteries are recommended. Run times of 20 – 24 hours off of a fresh set of batteries. The Foxfire has the capacity to hold up to 200 sounds and is reprogrammable from home. Sounds are stored on a micro SD card. A compatible reader writer is necessary for reprogramming. This digital game call is capable of playing FXP audio files as well as MP3 and WAV files.
The TX9 remote gives you full control of the Wildfire Digital Game Call. It features a LCD display which shows the title of the sound and also displays the volume level. There are 10 volume steps, ranging from 1-10. The mute button not only mutes the sound but acts as a pause also. When you un-mute it will start playing where you left off rather than starting over. If you make changes to the sounds, you can upload the sound list to the remote by use of the upload jack located on the side of the transmitter. The remote operates off a single 9V alkaline battery with a run time of approximately 100 plus hours. Backed by a 3 year limited warranty.
