    Product Description

Looking back, waterfowl wading gear has come a LONG way from the time of heavy rubber and canvas, through the years of bulky, thick neoprene...to the tough and incredibly lightweight, three-layer synthetic materials of today. Now, hunters can expect the NEW Drake 2.0 Breathable Insulated Wading System to be MORE rugged and comfortable than ANY chest wader they have EVER worn in the past. The No-Buckle straps are adjustable on both the front and the back of the shoulder. The hand warmer is located Against-The-Body inside the 300-gram Poly Insulation bib and the large front cargo pouch has a vertical license/key pocket with a waterproof zipper. Ammo fits nicely into horizontal shell loops and there's a vertical call pocket with Magnattach. Warm boots have felt insoles, 1200-gram Thinsulate insulation and reinforced knee pads with Hydro-Flex for easy movement.

    First impression is good

What is your opinion of this product?
My first impression on these waders is that Drake knocked it out of the park on these waders. I own the uninsulated version of these waders. For a few years I have been trying to find a combo of less bulk with more warmth. I think I found that combo with these waders. Hopefully these waders provide me with less clothing to wear on those minus 0 degree days. The fit on these waders is far better than the uninsulated version for me. I'm 6-2, 210 lbs. Only thing I'm not liking so far is the hand warmer access holes might be a little small. We shall see how they hold up.

    Baggy
What is your opinion of this product?
Construction and overall quality looks and feels good. However, the boots are bulkier than a lot of others with similar insulation. I'm 5'9", 11.5 shoe, 35" waist, and 30" inseam. They're too long, and are very baggy around the legs, which concerns me having too much of the breathable material that can snag easily, compared to neoprene. Looking at the size chart for the stouts, i dont think this would get any better, likely worse. Confident they're good waders, but just cant stand the bagginess. If you're not 5'10" or taller, i'd stay away if you can't fill them out. Ran into same issue with the Banded Playmaker hybrids.

    Wrong Image w/ item
What is your opinion of this product?
The image with this item is the neoprene version. The breathable insulated model does not have pockets nor does it have the boot clips under the bottom cuff. The waders seemed well built but I returned mine for the neoprene version because I'm still a little leery of the new breathable synthetic technology. Too many reviews of them leaking and the hassle of the return process. Also I am a size 9 in LaCrosse products but these boots were too big so I returned it for a size 8. You can expect a review for me on the MST Eqwader 2.0 soon.
