Refugee rat savior

by Greg

Picked one up when it was under the Branded brand. The back is LARGE but i am big. It gets heavy, especially when its filled with water - but last year i was able to walk further and faster across the california refugees with my pack, this giving me more space between the sky busters and crowds and yielding a lot more ducks over the course of the season. Like it so much, i'm going to get a second for future use, or when the boys are big enough to haul more decoys.

The cons: Weight can be unbalanced making it hard to walk and extremely difficult to walk in deep muddy water. If you dip or get some water in the bag, there is no drainage at the bottom - so it gets heavy!

Best investment for waterfowl hunting

by Mitch

I was able to pack 18 floaters and 6 butts in the bag along with 4 mojos! Yes it was a load to carry for walk-ins but man was worth it! I am impressed with the bag handling that mush weight. I would not put anymore in the bag than that. Also this bag is a huge help for using with our setup for a boat. If I can give a 6 star rating I would!

Great concept, but terrible construction

by Tom

This bag was great for about 3 hunts. Worked perfectly and was an amazing idea. After my 3rd or 4th hunt, the high side cinch connections for the shoulder straps (which are not reinforced at all) started ripping the bag apart. I have used the bag as intended, but it did not hold up to the test of walking in. Gun stock slot was too small for SBE1 stock so had to carry my gun, not a big deal, but reduced weight from the pack that still ripped to pieces at the top. Photos will be posted on the review on amazon since they don’t have that option here.

Bought from mackspw through amazon.

good product, needs a couple upgrades

by Casey

I give this 3 stars bc it needs to be thought out a little more.
Pros
Good material and appears it will hold up to years of use. The slots are big enough to fit 2 smaller decoys like teal. this bag will be perfect for my walk in hunts to small potholes and marshes
Cons
The two side bags for the spinning wing decoys need drain holes. I'd also like to see some buckles attached to it as well to secure everything in the pockets. The side shotgun holder needs to be bigger, it will fit a uncased gun, but if you are like me and carry your gun in a sleeve/case the pocket is not big enough to accept the stock. Zippers, we all know zippers fail eventually.

Over all I think I will be very happy with the bag, as long the stitching and zippers hold up this will give me years of use.

Backwards straps

by Mike

Seems decent so far except all the straps are sewn on backwards for tightening while wearing. I have had plenty of hunting packs to know that these are wrong. But once you get it adjusted and on it seems to carry well. The gun holder strap is also backwards and loosens up first shake of the bag.
